Replacement Cost Value
The full cost to replace damaged property at current prices.
Replacement Cost Value is what it would cost today to replace the damaged property with materials of like kind and quality, without subtracting depreciation. Most Florida HO-3 policies offer RCV for the dwelling but sometimes only ACV for contents.
Example. A roof that cost $15,000 to install 10 years ago may have an RCV of $28,000 today.
