What we look at

Six things every review covers.

The free review is not a sales pitch. It is a licensed public adjuster reading your actual policy and the carrier's actual scope, then telling you what they see.

1

Your full policy reviewed

Coverage limits, sublimits, endorsements, exclusions — what you actually paid for, in plain English.

2

Carrier estimate audit

Line-by-line check of the carrier's scope. Where the math is wrong, where the scope is short, where they applied depreciation incorrectly.

3

Hurricane deductible math

Florida-specific. Whether the carrier applied the right deductible (named storm vs. hurricane vs. AOP) and at the right basis.

4

Settlement gap estimate

A licensed adjuster's honest read on whether your offer is short — and by how much.

5

Florida statute check

Whether the carrier complied with FS 627.70131 (timeliness), FS 627.7142 (Bill of Rights), and the matching statute (FS 626.9744).

6

Next-step plan

What to file, what to ask the carrier, when to invoke appraisal — and whether you need a public adjuster at all.

You decide what to do next

Many calls end with "you don't need us — here's what to file." If we take the case, our fee is contingent on what we recover above the carrier offer.

Common questions

The questions homeowners ask first.

How much does the review cost?
Nothing. The policy and loss review is free. If you decide to hire us to represent the claim, our fee is contingent on what we recover beyond the carrier's offer — set per Florida Statute 626.854.
Will hiring a public adjuster slow my claim down?
A licensed PA usually accelerates the claim because the carrier is talking to a licensed peer instead of a homeowner. We file the right documents, hit the statutory deadlines, and avoid the back-and-forth that drags claims out.
Do I have to use a public adjuster after the review?
No. Many free reviews end with us telling you the carrier's offer is fair, or that you can resolve it directly without representation. We only take cases where we believe a licensed PA can genuinely move the number.
What if the carrier already paid me?
Florida law allows supplemental claims after initial payment. If your repairs revealed more damage than the carrier's scope captured, you may still have recovery available — see FS 627.70132 for the supplemental window.
Are you affiliated with my insurance company?
No. Public adjusters represent policyholders, not carriers. We are licensed by the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) and our fiduciary duty is to you.
